Derek Taylor

Derek joined the agency in January of 2018. Prior to joining the Starr Team, Derek spent 7 years serving as a Senior District Sales Manager for the Erie Insurance Group. Throughout his career, Derek has put an emphasis on professional development and has obtained the following insurance designations; CIC, CLU, and CPCU. Derek holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management with a Concentration in Marketing from Mount Saint Mary’s University where he played on the Men’s Division 1 Tennis Team. Derek is actively involved in our community serving on several non-profit boards in addition to his day to day responsibilities of overseeing the agency operation.
